Volunteering
Volunteering your time is equally important and we have so many examples of alumni giving their time to mentor, guest speak, support our 80+ clubs and societies or connect us with industry. We’d love for you to be involved.
Our alumni are the very best examples of what a Hulme education and experience can offer to current and prospective pupils and being part of a unique community is invaluable to today’s pupils.
Hearing your stories, learning from your experience and inspiring new ideas are all ways our alumni can add real value to our current pupils.
Mentoring
For our sixth form pupils, they have the opportunity to be matched with a mentor who can provide bespoke guidance and advice to help steer their education and career choices. Furthermore, having an independent and critical friend can give a fresh perspective when sometimes things can feel overwhelming.
Guest speakers
Hearing from experts in their field. Learning from others who have first-hand successes and failures, examples of resilience, hardship and challenge make for fascinating speakers for tailored groups, classes, subjects and assemblies.
Engage your company
Facilitating contacts and connections with companies can be a great way to support Hulme and our pupils. Engaging with industry, creating work experience opportunities and projects all give a brilliant insight into what our pupil’s future careers may shape to become. Attending our careers fairs, arranging company visits or involving organisations in our transformation projects are great examples of how our alumni make a remarkable difference that we wouldn’t be able to achieve without you.
Please get in touch if you are able to assist Hulme Grammar School in any way. We look forward to hearing from you.
