Join us to celebrate Mr John Budding’s retirement after 35 years teaching at Hulme Grammar School.
We start with a football match kick-off at 10:30am (meet at 10:00am), followed by gathering at Werneth Cricket Club at 12:30pm.

School show sponsorship opportunities

The annual OHA dinner is an excellent occasion to catch up with old friends and fellow alumni as well as see former teachers and have a tour around school.
We transform the main hall at school to serve a three-course dinner with bar. Doors open at 6:30pm with dinner served at 7:30pm

Tickets are £40 per person with reduced rate for alumni leaving school since 2020 at just £30. Email dinner@oldhamhulmeians.uk for further details.
Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea with delicious treats, reconnect with old friends, and reminisce about cherished memories. Guests will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the school, exploring how it has evolved over the years. For some of the Old Girls, we’re even able to wander around what was the former Boys’ School!

Adding to the occasion, we are delighted to welcome our Guest of Honour, Miss Winfield, who served as Headmistress from 1975 to 1985. Her reflections on the school’s history and impact will make this a truly memorable afternoon.
