New student entrance to the Main School is opened

We’re delighted to share that Hulme Grammar School has introduced a new student entrance at our Main School. This fresh addition includes a dedicated pathway that keeps students separate from vehicle traffic, ensuring a smoother and more secure arrival each day.

The entrance leads to a secure access gate controlled by an access card, providing an extra layer of convenience and security. This update is part of our continued effort to enhance the overall school experience for our students.

Please see the instructions and images below:

• All students should access the Main School via the new pedestrian gates on Chamber Road, which will be unlocked and open during normal school hours.
• At the gate, present your access card to the keypad which will bleep and unlock the gate. Make sure the gate is closed and locked behind you.
• The new double gates will be closed at all times and are for staff and delivery vehicles only. Students should not attempt to open these gates.
• There is no pedestrian access through these gates from either side.
